At Security Associates Limited (SAL), we are leading our sector of the security industry by re-writing the rules relating to the way security providers interact and treat their customers. Traditional industry models dictate that customers are financially penalised when utilising essential service providers. At SAL we believe such models are unsustainable, as it creates a fundimental distrust of the provider's motivations and delivery process.
Our model is simple! via our network of locallised sister companies, we provide essential security services as all inclusive service plans, with out penalty, while promoting customer communication. Our unique model and method of operation was created specifically to benefit the users of electronic security systems and guard response/patrol services. Our subsideries operate with the common goal of streamlining communications, operational capabilities at the most competitive rates available.

Rick Allen - Technical Director (NZCE)
My career started in avionics, but I switched to the security industry more than 30 years ago. I find the use of technology in the battle against crime both challenging and rewarding. I have personally installed, serviced and upgraded hundreds of security systems in commercial and residential premises here on the North Shore. It is important to me that security systems are well planned and executed, so that they achieve the best possible results for clients. This is a factor of the equipment chosen, how it is installed (e.g. angles of cameras) and how it is integrated with other elements of the total security package. Technology supports our services, ultimately to the benefit of our clients.
Carwyn Winiata - Operations Director
After serving in the Royal New Zealand Navy, I began my security career as a frontline security officer in 1996. I found it exciting and well suited to my personality; I worked hard and involved myself in all facets of patrol and investigation. I experienced many different aspects of the industry first hand. These years of front line experience have proven invaluable as I now oversee all aspects of our operational responsibilities both, present and future.
